Snowfall
Well today it snowed for the first time this winter. I spent lunch time in the pub with colleagues and when I left this had happened. It took me an age to get home due to gridlocked traffic.

New Camera
I finally took the plunge and upgraded my camera from the Canon A80 to the newer version Canon A640. Sadly the weather is too bad to go out for some really good photo opportunities. The best I could manage to test it out was... flowers!!!
But I think I am going to really enjoy using it :-)

Cosford Announcement
On January 17th 2007 my colleagues at RAF Cosford learnt that their bid for the Defence Training Review had been rejected in favour of a new "Super site" in St. Athan, Wales. The announcement means that they all face an uncertain future as many are unwilling or unable to make the move to Wales and will also be faced with the prospect of privatisation. They have fought a long and hard campaign to prove that the best option was to keep Defence training in Cosford. Further information on the campaign can be found on the PCS Shropshire Area Website.
