James asked what would appear on your Coat of Arms?
I did a little check and it seems 'We Jeffersons' have one already! But my ancestors seem to have been from the Whitby area! That being the case I can't tell you which county I was born in!!!

Now all I need is someone to explain to me what all of that means?

It seems there is a coat of arms for both my maiden name and my married name. Both iffy, well for me! My maiden name, Gray, is Scottish and we were hangers on of the Stuart Clan and not the English lot they seem to connect us with. My married name again they connect to another spelling and English roots, considering it an alternative. But it is a very rare name and according to a genealogist relative it goes back to Ireland although there is a small town in Brittany with the name and some people by that name on Jersey.
As you say, you need the 90 second lecture on what it means.
I've got one too:

This is very impressive. You should have it printed off and hang in your living room. You just need a title to go with it now.
It just means you're a very special person, Cherie.
I should go see if there is one for my name, hmm will look into this :-)
jmb - you family history sounds very interesting :-)
wonkotsane - James now has them both on his blog!
Ellee - I think my Dad may have a copy somewhere. Now I wonder what title I should take!
James - Thank You :-)
Nunyaa - I can't wait to see what yours is like :-)
Irish families all seem to have coats of arms. My own family arms are very regal. THe O'donnell one is pretty fetching too. I'll have to post my family one. It didn't mean that my parents weren't born is considerable poverty in 1920's Ireland though!
Jams - I am looking forward to seeing your regal coat of arms!
