Apparently it is now in this country, location undisclosed! It is supposed to arrive at the dealer anytime now, so hopefully next week *fingers crossed* I will have my new car!
And the gas man is at long last supposed to be coming to fit the new radiator. Still not sure if he can cure the Woodpecker totally! When I was standing in just the right/wrong place a few days ago I could feel the vibrations through my toes...

Your gas saga reminds me of the song (probably by Flanders & Swan) called something like !The Gasman Cometh" Do you remember it at all?
Sorry I've been a poor visitor recently.
I could do with a new car having jst had a big job done on mine at the garage, new clutch and bearings on the gearbox. I dread the bill.
Dragonstar - I don't remember the song, I will have to go and check it out.
Don't worry about being a poor visitor we all have busy lives!
Ellee - I bet that hurt a bit!!!
Bet you are excited, what kind of car are you getting if you don't mind me asking?
I have been for a while it was supposed to have been here 3 weeks ago... the dealership are not keeping me informed I have to keep phoning!!!
Mmm think that means I am excited ;-) :-)
It is a Skoda Fabia!
Dragonstar - Python also had something about that.
'twas on a Monday morning the gasman came to call.
That's the song.
Are you sure it's your pipes? Not a Borrower living under the floorboards?
Here's hoping your CH [problems will be over. As for cars, I can't imagine ever owning a new one unless our lottery numbers came up! Our current car turned 18 in February...
James - Hi :-)
Liz - I remember the song now :-)
& you really have me worried, I was sure it was a woodpecker...
Jams - I think more work may be needed on the CH.
I am glad I am able to have a new car, I have to drive lots of places on my own and would hate to be stuck somewhere out in the wilds!
