This week everyone seems to be having problems with blogging. JMB was locked out of her account along with quite few other bloggers who were told their blogs were spam. And something or someone is eating Mutley's comments...
I rather stupidly I managed to overwrite my blog template with another. and when I tried to re-install it from a backup it wanted to delete some of my widgets. I had to start again from scratch. That will teach me to meddle with things! A bit later blogger decided to eat yesterday's post just as I tried to post it. So I gave up with what I had intended to write especially as blogger started playing up big time and wouldn't let me post or make comments. Eventually I managed to post a shortened version and as You Tube was playing up as well I posted the lyrics alongside just in case everyone else was having the same problems as me!
Do you ever get the feeling you just shouldn't be doing something?
So for PhotoHunt I share two pictures that were taken in the dark, although they both look quite bright to me. The second one was taken in the lovely town of Bruges.

That second one could be a jigsaw! Really it would make a great jigsaw. And it's a lovely photo.
Those are very clever effects you use in your self portraits.
I keep thinking I should do something with my template but I'm too scared. I liek it simple anyway!
THe second shot is superb. I love the the self portrait too. Happy weekend
The reflections in the Bruges pic are beautiful. A perfect exposure.
Lovely entry
My blog went all peculiar too, earlier in the week. Then blogger goes and has "outage" just when it's cool enough to post here! Anyway, that pic of you is wonderful and Bruges is one of my favourite cities. I haven't seen it for many years, so thank you for reminding me.
Liz - Thank you :-) my template is just a standard one... I just change two things so people could easily read the way I type...
Jams - Glad you like, wishing you a great weekend too :-)
Toraa - Thank You :-)
Welshcakes - Thank you :-) I would love to share the Bruges experience with you, it is one of my favorite places ;-)
Hmm, nice! :-)
Cool portrait
and the buildings in the 2nd pic reflect so well... is it water...?
they are beautifully done!
Check out lotus buds here
Online life has been quite interesting this week, hasn't it? Luckily we are old hands and just wait until the "clever" people fix things. If I was a newbie I would have given up I think.
The photo of Bruges is amazing Cherie. Have a good weekend.
I love what you do with those self-portraits - very effective. And the photo in Bruges is superb!
Very dramatic. I have only been to Belgium on a short stop over from the US. I had a very long layover and had a look around Brussels. Keen to go back.
Eve - Yes, that is water. Shortly after I took the photo some ducks swam past and created ripples on the water.
Magiceye - Thank you :-)
JMB - Yes blogging does seem to be complicated this week.
Dragonstar - I am glad you like them :-)
Colin - I am sure you would love Bruges, it is one of my favourite places.
The photo of Bruges is amazing .... glad to say iam free of on line problems at the moment but wonder how long for as something is always round the corner :-(
Your portrait reminds me of star line-traces. :)
As for Bruges, indeed, an orchid amongst Europe's beautiful towns.
The Bruges shot is a stunner.
Sally - Problems are frustrating at the time, but OK if we can sort them out :-)
Sean - I agree about the star traces :-) I was having some starry thoughts too when I took the picture ;-) & I agree Bruges is a pearl!
Richard - Thank You :-)
