PhotoHunt - Yellow

Today I was attending a PCS Regional meeting which meant a train journey to Nottingham. My recent train journeys have been running quite smoothly and according to plan compared to this or this previous journey to Nottingham.

But today the trains were not playing! We got to Birmingham quite smoothly and got on the connecting train only to by kicked off with that dreaded comment "faulty unit". So 30 minutes later we were back on a train and back on track, but 30 minutes late for the meeting.

The meeting was a little chaotic compared to usual (great buffet though ;-) )...

I think a mellow photo is in order!

I love sunflowers. I can't wait for them to start appearing around here. My photo this week was taken during a train trip.

Love sunflowers reminds me of my childhood when my mom had that in our garden.

I played too :)

That Sunflower matches our day today. We have a week of good weather.

Birmingham seems to a train nexus of despair.

Beautiful shot. Our soon to be son in law is from Nottingham. He and the kid live in Lancaster currently. We got to experience British train travel for the first time last year... pretty smooth. We'll be there again in May and are hoping for the same smooth experience.
