Technology is Having a Laugh!

I bet you thought I was joking when I said technology had taken over. This weekend things had almost been restored to normal but today technology seems to have the upper hand again!

The Blogger problems seem to have resurfaced. At the moment I can only see the sidebar to my blog and I find trying to post comments is difficult too. I am not the only one who is having problems with it, the latest in the queue of people unable to comment on my blog is JHL.

The problem with my PCS blog was fixed when the database administrator was home for the weekend. But now he has left for a couple of weeks I am sure you can guess what has happened... I can't access the site again, but this time it isn't just the database that is broken!

*sighs* more blog withdrawal symptoms :-/

Just to top it all off something has gone wrong with my email provider. I am only receiving emails from one of my email addresses. For the other one I keep getting pop up messages saying that my password is wrong!

What I need right now is this:

Almost Zen

Cherry Pie, I'm sure you've been advised by what to do - change to WordPress!!! You can kiss goodbye to those Blogger problems then.

Ellee - I like some features on WordPress and some from Blogger. I want the best of the two worlds ;-)

I think you're being very calm about it - I'd be hysterical! Please don't change to Wordpress - it's such a pain to get comments on and then it takes hours to get back to your own site.

Poor you!

I was once sent an email and I can't remember the wording excatly but it was all about a peaceful secne like that. Imagining yourself by this lake and talking you through into a calming situation and then it said, 'Now imagine holding the head of whoever is annoying you under the water!' Something like that! You could imagine holding Blogger under the water.

There is always Square Space but you have to pay after the free trial. It is very good.
Then again - Live Journal has much going for it.

The Gremlins are in the works.

I'm sure a lot of it has to do with people putting to much stuff on their blogs. Servers can't cope with the load.

Welshcakes - I am quite irritated by it really and have been trying to sort out a fall back solution which is proving difficult! I won't be changing my personal blog to wordpress although I am tempted to self host a blogger blog!

Liz - I think I wouldn't want to spoil that scene but maybe under an angry bubbling sea!!!

Aileni - I don't mind paying a little, maybe I should check out the options.

James - I think other forces are at work ;-)

TBR - Yes I think that is a part of it and also I think the net overall is nearly at melt down point!

Luisa - I intend to stay with blogger, although I may self host it if it carries on playing up!

Yes I like different bits about both blogging platforms. Overall I think for most people though blogger is easier to use.
