PhotoHunt - Emotions

As you can see there is a great deal of happiness shining out of this photo. There are four generations and thhe little one is my nephew who will be 16 in a couple of months and it only seems like yesterday when he was born. I saw him today when I visited my brother and he has changed so much in the few months since I last saw him (Christmas). If I had passed him in the street I wouldn't have recognised him.

Generations

Lots of happiness indeed shining forth Cherie. Time passes so quickly. Mine were babies just yesterday and now they are 45 and 41! Of course I'm no longer a spring chicken either.

I've just come across your Interesting? section and was surprised - pleasantly - to see Thich Nhat Hanh listed.

Many years ago I read a few of his books and even bought a series of his lectures on cassette but with the birth of our children the time and impetus to follow him disappesared completely. I have the books but I haven't come across the cassettes. Mind you finding the cassettes wouldn't be much good because I don't have a cassette player now.

Perhaps I should re-read his books. Yes, I will start today.

What a lucky? encounter.

Thanks, CP

D - Time does fly by, it is quite scary. I will email you about the blog updates widget :-)

Nunyaa - I am glad you like it Thank You :-)

Can you see any of my photos? If not I will try something!

Calum - I haven't read any of his books, but I have read things he has written on line. I really like his walking meditation. I think maybe reading those books might be just what you need at the moment.

A lucky encounter I think yes :-)

I realised I had been doing something silly and linking to the wrong sized photos on flickr. Sorry it must have slowed your pc down a bit...

I am glad you are able to see it eventually :-)
