Hi there, I just found your blog from Bob T. Bear. I LOVE these photos, I adore gardens and love to visit lots of the National Trust places. I'll have to go to Powis one day :) Catherine
Gosh, the second one could be a model miniature village. It looks so perfect.
I love terraces in the summer and many is the luncheon we had out on one.
Wow... i'm only just realizing how big castles are....

Not been to Powis for a long time - as I recall it is long walk from the car park to the castle.
Beautiful. Italians never believe how green Britain is. I once took an Italian friend to Roath Park in Cardiff and he put his hand on the grass to check that it was real!

That is a very beautiful castle - and the grounds are exquisite! I wonder how many gardeners and how much money it takes to keep them that way!

I've never understood why PowIs Castle in PowYs is spelt like that - BUT it's very beautiful all the same.
