T is for Terraces

I am sure some of you will remember that Powis castle and gardens are one of my favourite places to visit. They have some wonderful terraces so I just couldn't resist posting a few more pictures from my collection.

Previous photos here and here.

Hi there, I just found your blog from Bob T. Bear. I LOVE these photos, I adore gardens and love to visit lots of the National Trust places. I'll have to go to Powis one day :) Catherine

Not been to Powis for a long time - as I recall it is long walk from the car park to the castle.

Beautiful. Italians never believe how green Britain is. I once took an Italian friend to Roath Park in Cardiff and he put his hand on the grass to check that it was real!

That is a very beautiful castle - and the grounds are exquisite! I wonder how many gardeners and how much money it takes to keep them that way!

I've posted an ABC Wednesday entry on my blog, but I can't add it anywhere! Anyway, you can see it if you drop by. ;)
