V is for Vienna

There are some beautiful formal gardens in Vienna and also a lot of scaffolding on the buildings. So I need to go back to get some better photographs ;-) Well that is my excuse and I am sticking to it!

If that is two typical examples - please continue!

Never been to Vienna but would love to go. Scaffolding is what decorates so many buildings nowadays. I went to Bologna over a more than ten year period before I actually saw the front of the basilica.
What a garden. Magnificent.

I think that is the first Viennese entry for 'V' - that I have seen anyway.

RunE - I need to go back for a visit ;-)

JMB - Yes I am plagued by scaffolding. I have visited Paris on and off for over 10 years and have NEVER seen it without scaffolding...

Aileni - I like to be different ;-)

Sally - Glad you enjoyed them :-)

James - Me too, the first picture is in the gardens there. The pictures of the Shloss had scaffolding so I did want to draw attention to that in a blog post!

Jeremy - It is a lovely place to visit!

A city I've always wanted to visit. Stunning photos as always.
