Catching Up

& catching my breath after so much activity regarding the Cosford Campaign. Also trying to catch up with my 52 week self portrait challenge, only 7 more to go now...

The decorating is almost complete and the carpet will arrive Wednesday. Then I can get my house straight again and hopefully relax properly!

I know where the portrait will hang in the main reception hall, Cherie but how are you furnishing the drawing room?

Nunyaa - Apparently it is a gothic style. I can't quite see it myself...

Luisa - Thank you :-) Only one day to go now ;-) And yes I need a holiday!

Sackerson - Thank You :-)

James - All I know about the drawing room so far is that it will have lots of books.

Dragonstar - I did some minor adjustments in photoshop elements, then used a program called Virtual Painter.

Welshcakes - Thank You :-)

Denise - It is called cornfield and it is the colour of corn. I will try to get some pictures which might be difficult because it is the hall stairs and landing!

Liz - Thanks :-)

Again, the eyes have it :)

Thank You Crushed :-) I did try to do a water colour version but it came out all bright not pastel colours and my eyes came out brightest of all! They spooked me out so I didn't post that version :-/

Thank You Becky :-)

D - I have checked it out on your blog the carpet is very similiar and so is our hallway!!! I really must get to photograph it for you. Hopefully at the weekend so I can catch the morning light. I am not sure if it is a stainmaster or not.
