Who Said That?

For the last week I have been having problems with my ears, well one of them! Every morning I woke up deaf in one ear, then it would fizz and pop and come back to life! A few of those drops should do the trick I thought. The packet did warn that things might get worse before they got better, they did. Things didn't get better so time to get it checked out...

Yesterday I phoned my local medical centre and was told to phone back this morning so I could be fast tracked through. I did and was told I don't know why they told you that next Monday is the earliest date we can fit you in unless you have pain... I was not happy with that and after a bit of passing from person to person they decided that I really needed to be seen urgently today!

Verdict keep taking the drops in BOTH ears and come back next week for syringing! Yuk :-/ Lets hope the other ear doesn't go deaf as well...

On the plus side I don't need my ears for blogging ;-)

well that sounds as if it will be easily cured. I am finding that I am losing my hearing else every one else is speaking more softly.

Is that a lily or what? Look after your health, Cherie. Too precious to play games with.

Glad you got to see somebody earlier than originally planned. Dont you just despise the people on the end of the phone who haven't got earache!

Hope you will soon have ears like a lynx*, again, Cherrypie.
Meanwhile I'll write a bit louder. :)

Jmb - Yes it should be hopefully :-) Poor you I would had to have this deafness permanently.

James - I will, that is why I refused to accept the later appointment. I think it is an Arum Lily.

D - It was a bit frustrating yesterday. I think they are trying out a new system called fast track. It doesn't seem to be working properly yet!!!

Sean - Thank You :-) it seems to be working I can hear you clearly!

Aww! thank you for thinking of me. Both my ears are a bit deaf now which means I don't feel quite so weird and off balance :-)
