Mrs Nesbitt has started a new round of ABC Wednesday and I have decided to give it a go. For the third round a new dedicated blog has been set up to make it easier to view other peoples work.
I have decided to theme my entries. I was torn between Architecture and Gardens, in the end Garden theme won out. Even though I have blogged about it recently, I have chosen on Alnwick Garden for my first entry.

love that first pic... and a great theme too :-)
That looks a lovely place. I like gardens that can incorporate sculpture naturally. Especially with words!
Such a lovely place. Perfect for A!
Love the house and especially the stone at the bottom!
The first photo is brill but I am really attracted by the seat. Seats in gardens are me.
Gorgeous photo of the bee and the flower whatever it is Cherie. This looks like a wonderful place to visit.
I've only ever been to Alnwick Gardens once, when I was probably too young to appreciate it. Many thanks for reminding me of its beauty.
I love the 'dead fish' stone!!

Luvverly as usual, Cherie.
That photo of the flower, with the bee, I love macro shots like that.
Bit of advice sought here: if you take your own photos have you ever tried, or been able to, take a photo of a housemartin? Just that I have been trying for a while and can't do it, they're too fast.
We keep saying we must visit Alnwick gardens. The problem is that whenever I get near the town I'm overwhelmed by the need to visit Barter Books
You found the perfect day for these picturess. A beautiful place. I too like the 'fish stone'.

Ginro - I don't always get the bees sitting still I have one of a very blurry bee somewhere! There might be a group on flickr that could help with photographing housemartins.

Aileni - It was September last year and there wasn't a single drop of rain all week.
