The Day of the Cake!

Today the head of our building bought cakes for everyone, what a lovely thought. It makes a change from my ongoing computer problems. Yesterday's email problems didn't stop at work they followed me home. Now I can't send emails to more than one person at a time. Sighs!

Following my troubles at the weekend I have been doing a bit of research on the best ISP. Earlier in the year PC Pro ran "The PC Pro Awards". One of the categories was "The Best Broadband ISPs". Looking at the table of results it seems I have to balance the cost, reliability and customer service aspects and decide on the best compromise. And don't forget to check out how Pipex score ;-)

I don't think I'd score very well on this...

I actually managed to lose all sound on my PC this weekend due to downright technical incompetance.

I got it back- I'd plugged the wires in wrong at the back. The little things, eh?

When are you going to take up Zen.
I shall listen for the sound of two hands clapping...

Hang in there, Cherie. Your computer and my sniper will come right in the end.

Crushed - Yes, I hate it when I get the wires in back to front and wonder why nothing is happening!

Jams - At lot of them don't seem brilliant do they?

DD - They seem to be the worst of all don't they?

Aileni - Zen seem the best and are the most expensive so I am still wavering... If you hear two hands clapping you will know :-)

James - Yes things will sort themselves out in the end!

I am with AOL and have been going to move on to someone else for months well years actually :-( Just alittle scared about doing it and being with no internet for a while .... I should really get on and just do it as i know i could save myself some money. I have been looking at Bt internet .

Sally - You shouldn't be without when you change. You get a MAC address off your old ISP and give that to your new provider and they should arrange for the switch over.
