Some Updates

Yesterday's meeting went very well, several topics were discussed which led to some meaningful debates. I will do a fuller post on this when I have a little more time. I am also hoping to get some photographs to go with the post, so watch this space...

The good news is that a friend is going to help check out what is wrong with my computer a bit later this evening! There are several options to try and I am really hoping one of them works.

The not so good news is that at lunch time I noticed that a tyre on my car was a little low. When I went back half an hour later to figure out what to do with it, it was almost flat! Too flat to even drive 100 yards to the tyre fitters at the bottom of the road. After a quick think I decided it was best to try and inflate the tyre rather than change the wheel, I just needed to find a foot pump. I went to tell my work colleagues what was going on and as luck would have it, one of them had an air compressor in the boot of her car.

A few minutes later, the tyre was properly inflated and at the fitters being checked over. Apparently a small nail had gone into the tyre. Luckily it was possible to repair it rather than replace it.

I am beginning to wonder if someone is following me around creating all this havoc! That is just me being paranoid, isn't it? ISN'T IT???

No, no you aren't being paranoid. Someone really is following you around.

Just thought I'd say that to put your mind at rest, lol.

Ginro - I was going to go out tonight but now I am not so sure :-/

What you need to ask yourself is HOW Ginro knows...

Crushed - Now that is an interesting question!!! Ginro?

Just because you think they're out to get you doesn't mean they aren't!!!

Look up Cherie, is there a little black cloud above your head and no one else's?
Good luck with your computer.

Ah well, ah ... I am actually a secret government super computer monitoring your every move. When I was tinkering with your wheel earlier I...no! Nonononono! I mean I mean...erm...

Dragonstar - Oh!!! I can see a pattern emerging...

JMB - I really don't want my own cloud unless it is a pretty fluffy one! Also been able to talk to my Brother who built my PC for me, and the problem is being narrowed down...

Ginro - I thought you were my friend not a computer!!! Luckily I didn't notice you tinkering with my wheel :-o

Liz - I was hoping at least some one would reassure me...

Funnily enough, I was just emailing a friend in the UK who was telling me that her washing machine and other appliances have been playing up. Nothing can ever go wrong on its own , it seems. I do empathise, cherrypie!

There are days when I ask the God within, 'Heck!, what are you upto?"

I get a smile back --"Just testing your patience and faith" -- and then I smile back...

Things just work well the next time, or the next time I look at them...

its all a part of us..the God, the test, the patience...i had felt.

Good Luck, Cherie!
see you again :-)

Funny you should mention paranoia - I've just posted on that. Glad you had it repaired.

welshcakes - Problems always do seem to come along all at once don't they?

Devika - I agree, I think it is part of the test too. I am not one to give up to easily.

Nunyaa - He does LOL

James - I will check that out later. But for now, back to my computer, it isn't fixed yet. So far just narrowing down the possibilities so I can order the part.

Ach it's just as well the tyre was repairable. Addign out of pocket expense would have been just too much!

CherryPie said...

Aileni- That is what worries me!

Jams - That's what I thought. The tyres are larger than the ones on my previous car on those were expensive enough!
